The distance between a finding and a classroom.
Research reaches classrooms as a headline: a decline, a breakthrough, a warning, a strong claim resting on one study. This section slows that down, asking what was actually measured, what the evidence supports, where it thins out, and what a teacher can reasonably do with it.
Findings, interpretation and professional judgment are not the same thing, and each is named as what it is. Where the research complicates a comfortable conclusion, the complication stays in.
